what is the best varicocele treatment?
I’m a 22 year old, single male.
About 2 months ago I was diagnosed by a urologist with varicocele. The urologist said that the varicocele is in a "severe" stage and sent me to get a sonogram done. The sonogram confirmed the MD’s diagnosis of varicocele. The urologist recommended surgery (we still did not discuss which, even after I learned that there are two kinds). It is important for me to note that this discovery came to be by accident. I did not have any pain or other symptoms, rather it was brought to my attention by some doctor performing a general body check.
My grandfather, who has read Dr. Aaron E. Katz’s book "Dr. Katz’s Guide to Prostate Health: From Conventional to Holistic Therapies" and told me that there is nothing in there regarding varicocele.
What would you recommend in my situation (Grade III varicocele)? is surgery the best choice? is there an alternative, holistic cure? The urologist I saw told me that if I don’t take care of it now it might get worse to a point where it would be irreversible (unfix-able Since i’m not considering children right now, should I still be concerned? How urgent is it?
Pinny
you stated that
"you dont ever want kids, do you want two testies or are you happy with just one?"
Are you implying that by not treating the varicocele i’ll have only one testicle? how so?
