My father has recently had some minor issues with memory loss such as forgetting simple conversations, or misplacing items. More than normal, and more than enough to take notice by me, his son.

He has recently started taking (2) new medicines. Crestor for high cholesterol and Propecia or Finasteride for minor prostate problems. Is anyone currently taking these medications or previously taken these medications and had similar side effects such as memory loss, or a moment of confusion, forgetting conversations, etc?

Or does anyone in the medical field think this could be related to old age (He’s 62), or maybe something more serious such as alzheimers?
