Hi, My father recently had a test because his PSA level was 8.3. Today we found out he has prostate cancer and the doctor said something like "early signs of cancer." I assume that this is good because it’s in the early stages if I interpret this properly?

If so, my question is what would be the process to cure it? How long would it take? What are some treatment options? He is 54 years old. Thanks!
